Turquoise Shell Infinity Scarf-Free Crochet Pattern

I love the bright turquoise of this simple shell stitch scarf. It reminds me of the ocean in August. We certainly need some bright colors for the dreary winter days coming.
This scarf used almost an entire skein of Simply Soft Light in Hawaiian Sky and an H hook.

Ch 28.
Row 1:  2 Dc in 4th ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, sc, sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next* repeat from * to end.  Sk 2 ch, 3 dc in last chain, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc in first dc, *5 dc in sc, sc in 3rd dc from shell* repeat from * to end, 5 dc in sc, sc in 3rd ch, ch 3, turn.
Row3: 2 dc in sc, *sc in 3rd dc from shell, 5 dc in sc* repeat from * to end, sc in 3rd dc from shell, 3 dc in last sc, ch 1, turn.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until your scarf is the desired length or until you run out of yarn.
Slip stitch the ends together to form the infinity scarf.
Finished!
I just love the texture of the solid shell. I hope you enjoy your new scarf! If you're making one for a gift, remember to make yourself one too!
Xoxo, Alyssa

    1. Bright colors are so much better than the dreary grey sky!

  3. I really want to try this lovely scarf, but I need to make it longer for someone as a gift. Do I just add more chains?

    1. To make it longer, you would add more rows. To make it wider, you would add more chains.

  4. Good pattern. My daughter picked the yarn and pattern. I crocheted it. Turned out really nice.
