Navy Cabled Bracelet

You will want one of these easy bracelets for everyday wear. This quick cabled cuff used only a few yards of Vanna's Choice and size 9 needles. The cables create an interesting braided texture. Fun buttons finish it off.

Cast on 12 stitches.
Set up row 1:p2, k8, p2
Set up row 2: k2, p8, k2
Row 1: p2, 4-st right cable, 4-st right cable, p2
Row 2: k2, p8, k2
Row 3: p2, k2, 4-st left cable, k2, p2
Row 4: row 2
Repeat rows 1-4 until bracelet is about half an inch shorter than your wrist.
Cast off, but do not finish off on the last stitch. Slip a crochet hook into the loop, and across the top:
Sl st 2, ch 4, sk 1, sl st 6, ch 4, sk 1, sl st 2. Finish off and weave in ends. Sew on buttons.

4-st right cable: sl 2 sts to cn, hold to back, knit 2 sts from left hand needle, knit sts from cn.
4-st left cable:  sl 2 sts to cn, hold to front, knit 2 sts from left hand needle, knit sts from cn.
Here is the image of the button loops.
My pretty vintage buttons.
Clasped.
Isn't that texture just so yummy and yarny? I LOVE cables!
