Lacy Chevron Infinity Scarf

This lacy stitch showcases this metallic yarn beautifully! I'm a huge fan of using this color for fall and winter, so I'm sure this scarf will get a lot of use in the upcoming cold months.
I used one skein of Patons Metallic in Metallic Fuschia with an I hook.
2-dc cluster: (yo, insert hook in next st, yo, draw yarn through st, yo, draw yarn through 2 lps on hook) twice, yo, draw yarn through 3 lps on hook

Ch 42
Row1: dc in 5th ch from hook, *(ch1, sk next ch, dc in next ch) three times, ch1, sk next ch, (dc, ch3, dc) in next ch, (ch1, sk next ch, dc in next ch) three times, ch1, sk next ch**, work 2 dc cluster working first half closed dc in next ch, sk next 2 ch, work second half closed dc in next ch, yo complete dc cluster; rep from * across, ending last rep at **, work 2 dc cluster working first half closed dc in next ch, work second half closed dc in last ch, yo, complete cluster, turn

Row 2: ch 3 (counts as dc), sk next ch1 sp, *dc in next dc, (dc in next ch 1 sp, dc in next dc) three times, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in next ch3 lp, (dc in next dc, dc in next ch1 sp) three times**, work 2 dc cluster working first half closed dc in next dc, sk 3 sts, work second half closed dc in next dc, yo, complete cluster; rep from * across, ending last rep at **, work 2 dc cluster, working first half closed dc in next dc, sk 2 sts, work second half closed dc in top of turning ch, to, complete 2 dc cluster, turn

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), sk first 2 sts, dc in next dc, *(ch1, sk next dc, dc in next dc) three times, ch1, (dc, ch3, dc) in next ch3 lp, ch1, (dc in next dc, ch1, sk next dc) three times**,  work 2 dc cluster working first half closed dc in next dc, sk next 3 sts, work second half closed dc in next dc, yo, complete dc cluster; rep from * across, ending last rep at **, work 2 dc cluster working first half closed dc in next dc, work second half closed dc in top of turning ch, yo, complete cluster, turn

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until desired length.
Seam ends together, and weave in any remaining tails.
The finished scarf is about 9"x50". I really love this yarn, and the new colors they have recently come out with!
I hope you enjoy this pattern!
Xoxo, Alyssa

  1. Could this cowl be made into a longer one by just adding rows? I like the design but prefer a longer scarf. Thanks for sharing this pattern

    1. If you just want it longer and not wider, just add as many rows as you would like. To make it wider, you would have to add pattern repeats.
