Gemstone Dreams Cowl
This rich turquoise color and soft cloud-like baby alpaca blend combine to make a luxurious cowl. The worsted weight yarn allows it to knit up quickly, but with yarn this soft, that's not necessarily a good thing!
Co 108, join carefully without twisting.
Row 1 and all odd rows: k across
Row 2: *k4, yo, skp, k3; rep from * to end
Row 4: *k2, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skp, k2; rep from * to end
Row 6: *k1, yo, k2tog, k3, yo, skp, k1; rep from * to end
Row 8: * k2tog, yo, k5, yo, skp; rep from * to end
Rep rows 1-8 until cowl is desired size.
Bo loosely after a row 1. I used Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy.
Fasten off, and weave in all remaining ends
This chevron pattern is super easy, and looks pretty with this baby alpaca yarn, despite being a little fuzzy. My finished cowl is 32" around and 17" wide.
Enjoy this cowl!
Alyssa, You have done it again, such a beautiful cowl. I only wish I could knit as fast as you obviously do. Turquoise is my new future DIL's favorite color. Guess I will be putting this one on my list also.
