Gold Leaf Cowl

This soft chunky yarn has pretty bits of gold painted right on the yarn, for an interesting gold leaf effect. This simple stitch showcases this lovely yarn so well!
I used two skeins of Lion Brand Gold Leaf in Teal Gold with size 15 circular needles.
Co 70, join without turning
Row 1: (yo, k2tog) to end
Rep row one until your cowl is as wide as you would like.
Bo loosely in k.
Fasten off, and weave in all ends.
This stitch creates a nice lacy rib type texture. I love the gold peaking through on the occasional stitch!
My finished cowl is about 10"x38".
Next time you see this yarn in the craft store, pick some up! I know I will be!
Xoxo, Alyssa
