Ombre Eyelet Infinity Scarf
This delicate scarf has pretty ripples of color in a nice color scheme with an easy eyelet stitch.
I used one skein of Patons Lace in Patina with size 6 circular needles. The scarf is knit in the round.
Co 300, longtail. Join without twisting.
Row 1 and 2: knit across
Row 3: *yo, k2tog; rep from * to end across
Rep rows 1-3 twice. Then knit 6 rows. Continue by alternating between two sets of rows 1-3 and 6 plain knitting rows.
To end, rep rows 1-3 twice, then knit 2 rows. Bo loosely. I recommend using Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off or some other stretchy bind off. Weave in any remaining tails.
My finished scarf is 9"x68". It curls a little bit, but it doesn't really bother me so I didn't block it. I'm not sure how blocking would work if you use this yarn, since it's 80% acrylic.
Xoxo, Alyssa
It looks like 2 rows of yarn over, knit 2 together before returning to knit rows. Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteYes, it's two sets of the yarn over rows, and then a few rows of knitting.
DeleteWhat was the length of your size 6 circular?
ReplyDeleteI most likely used 24 or 28” circulars.
