Turquoise Illusion Necklace
This pretty necklace gives off the illusion of floating beads with the clear wire and bold beads.
Materials: lamp work beads, crystal beads, seed beads, crimp beads, clasp, illusion wire, bent nose pliers, and scissors.
Thread a crimp bead onto a piece of illusion wire, through the clasp, and back through the crimp bead. Secure the crimp bead with the pliers.
Thread a seed bead. Push the wire back through the same seed bead going the same direction as before. This will secure it to make the illusion necklace.
Thread a bead, and then repeat with another seed bead. Pull tight to secure the crystal. Thread the end of the illusion wire through the seed bead and the crystal to secure and hide the ends.
Continue adding beads in between seed beads. At the end, add the other side of the clasp the same way as the first, making sure to hide the end of the wire.
Repeat to make a second strand on this necklace. Alternate where the beads are, and make this strand a little shorter to make the necklace hang nicely.
