Silver Pineapple Scarf

This sequined silver scarf is light and airy, and the lace pattern is so perfect for a touch of elegance.
I used about 1 1/3 skeins of Patons Lace Sequin in Moonstone with a G hook.

I love pinapple stitch patterns! I think this yarn goes really nicely with the lacy pattern. I'm so sad they don't carry this yarn in any stores near me anymore! I have to buy it online! Has anyone else noticed that their local Michaels and A.C. Moore stores don't carry Patons Lace or Patons Lace sequin anymore? For the last year or so?
My finished scarf is 9"x 94".
Enjoy this pattern!
Xoxo, Alyssa

  2. Thank you for sharing this pretty pattern! Would you know how many stitches I have to add to make it wider? :D

    1. To make this wider, add a multiple of 15. The stitch pattern works in a multiple of 15 + 4.

  4. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely pattern. I am so excited to work on it! One quick question - in Row 2, it says "ch 3, sc in next ch 7 lp, ch 5, sk next ch 3 lp, dc in next ch 7 lp, ch 3". The first sc in ch7 lp makes sense, but then it says to dc in the next ch7 lp - should that be a sc instead? dc doesn't seem to make sense, but if that's what it is, then please forgive me! Lovely pattern anyway, and thanks again for sharing.

    1. Yes, it should be sc. It was a typo.
      Glad you like the scarf!

  5. Thanks for the lovely pattern!
I would like to check regarding the gauge size and recommended substitution of yarns for the scarf.

    1. I generally don't gauge scarves, since it doesn't really matter. I would say any fingering weight yarn would work for this scarf, or something lighter or heavier, but make sure to adjust the hook size.

  7. This is so pretty! I wonder if I could work this up as an infinity scarf by stitching ends together at the end? ...or would it work if I make chains to length that I want and slip stitch together and work as rounds? Do you think that would work? I'll try to remember to check back here in case you reply to this - or feel free to send email if you prefer.

    1. You could definitely stitch the ends together for an infinity scarf. To work in rounds, I believe it would work if you added a multiple of 15, to get to the length you want.
I’m so glad you like it!
