Stained Glass Infinity Scarf

These bright colors make a great simple scarf, in an easy chain stitch pattern. I tend to avoid variegated yarns, but I loved the bright colors in this skein and wanted to try it.
I used one skein of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in Stained Glass with a J hook.

Ch 200, sl st in 1st ch to join, being careful not to twist
Row 1: ch 3, dc in next ch, *ch 8, sk next 8 ch, dc in each of next two chs; rep from * to end across, ch 8, sk next 8 ch, join to top of original ch 3 with sl st
Row 2: ch 3, dc next to second dc, *ch 8, sk ch 8 lp, dc in sp between 1st and 2dc dc, dc next to 2dc dc; rep from * to end across, ch 8, sk ch 8 lp, join with st st to top of original ch 3 with sl st
Rep row 2 as many times as you would like, or until out of yarn.
Fasten off, and weave in all ends.
I actually really like the way these colors blended. I wasn't sure if they would get too muddled together. It's always good to take risks in your crocheting!
My finished infinity scarf is 15" wide and 54" around.
Enjoy!
Xoxo, Alyssa

  1. Love it too! It looks great, really. Hope I find some cotton and silk with similar colours to make a summer scarf... I love scarves just to adorn but it must be a really light yarn here in Spain ;)

Thanks a lot for sharing, Alyssa!
